Great effort from Aquila Turalom this evening, running under 16mins in his first ever 5000m race. Competing in the Queensland 5000m championships at Runaway Bay, Aquila clocked 15min 58.82 seconds for the 12 and a half lap event to become the fifth PNG athlete to record a sub 16 clocking in the last 12 months. Siune Kagl also competed tonight, clocking a time of 15mins 50.24
